Visitor Welcome
Flexible — weekend and open-day sessionsMeet and greet visitors, provide an introduction to the museum and site, and help people navigate the exhibits. No specialist knowledge required — full training given before your first session.
Archives & Research
Flexible — weekday or weekendHelp catalogue documents, photographs, and records from the camp's wartime period. Work with original materials under supervision. Particularly suited to those with research, history, library, or admin skills.
Education Support
Term-time school visit daysAssist with school group visits, helping deliver the education programme for primary and secondary pupils. Suited to those who enjoy working with young people and have an interest in sharing history.
Collections Care
Flexible — weekday sessionsHelp with the handling, storage, and basic conservation of artefacts. Training is provided and no prior experience is necessary. Attention to detail and a steady hand are more valuable than specialist qualifications.
