Comrie Museum at Cultybraggan is developed and supported by volunteers who research, care for and interpret the former camp.

Caring for the camp's history
When Comrie Development Trust bought the 90-acre former military camp in September 2007, the site included surviving huts, photographs, documents, objects and many unresolved questions about its past.
Heritage volunteers research the collection, care for material, develop displays and help visitors connect the surviving site with documentary and personal evidence.
The Museum covers the prisoner-of-war camp, later military use and community ownership. Where interpretation remains uncertain, the aim is to distinguish evidence from inference.
